We are providers on most insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and many private insurance plans such as Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, etc. Please call our office at (915) 267-2020 to inquire if we are a provider for your insurance carrier. If we are not currently a provider on your insurance plan, we will try to become a provider or will work with you to file an out-of-network claim, if possible.
Many insurances require a referral from the primary care provider listed on your plan. If your insurance requires this, please bring the referral to your visit.
Most health insurance plans cover visits to our office under your regular health insurance. You do not have to have vision coverage to be seen by our doctors. If you have any questions about your coverage, call our office today and ask to speak to one of our billing specialists.
FEES AND PAYMENTS
At the Southwest Eye Institute, we work hard to assure that our fees are reasonable. At the same time, we strive to provide you the best care possible using the latest technology available. As a service to our patients, we accept checks and credit cards.
As an additional service, we also offer financing through specialized patient financing companies where you can finance up to 100 percent of visits and procedures with no upfront costs, annual fees, or pre-payment penalties. There are even ‘No Interest Payment Plans,’ in which there are no interest charges if the balance is paid in full within the specified time period.
