Marc Ellman, M.D.Marc Ellman, M.D. grew up in New York and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Ursinus College near Philadelphia. Dr. Ellman then graduated from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. After a medical internship at Penn State's Lehigh Valley Hospital, Dr. Ellman completed training in medical and surgical eye care at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where he served as Chief Resident in Ophthalmology.

Besides caring for patients at the Southwest Eye Institute, Dr. Ellman is Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology for the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center College of Medicine. He has been involved in numerous published research projects and is author of the "Cataracts and Glaucoma" chapter of Duane's Ophthalmology, a prestigious ophthalmology textbook used to educate ophthalmologists throughout the world.

Dr. Ellman lectures regularly to other physicians and the public on various health topics.  He is also a regular contributor to Life Extension Magazine and was the medical editor of “How to Live 365 Days a Year,” a book published by Running Press.  Dr. Ellman currently serves as medical editor for Ebsco Data Corporation, a supplier of medical information for hospital websites.

Dr. Ellman performed magic professionally for 14 years.  He currently enjoys flying small planes and is an instrument-rated private pilot.

Robert Storment, O.DRobert Storment, O.D. grew up in Kansas and received his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Kansas. Dr. Storment then moved to Memphis, Tennessee to pursue a Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern College of Optometry. During the four years he attended the program, Dr. Storment received training in all areas of optometric care including pediatrics, primary care, contact lenses, refractive surgery, ocular disease, and geriatrics. Dr. Storment has received extensive refractive surgery training and has managed more than 1,000 refractive surgery patients.

In 2009, Dr. Storment moved from Kansas to El Paso and joined Dr. Ellman at the Southwest Eye Institute.  He looks forward to providing quality comprehensive and medical eye care to the people of El Paso and surrounding communities. 

When Dr. Storment is out of the office he enjoys cycling, running, and swimming.  He would like to one day obtain a private pilot’s license.
